​Salon Policies

 

Payment Types/Refund Policy-Deposits & Products

We accept checks, cash, Vista Belle Salon gift cards and credit/debit as payment. Please note, there is a return check fee. We do not accept prepaid gift cards as payment. All service and gift card sales are final. We do not offer refunds on services, products or extensions for any reason. Products can only be returned within a week of purchase, unused and only for an exchange of a product that is the same or less in value. If you exchange for a product that is more, you will be required to pay the difference. For any non refundable deposit we require, it is not refundable, under any circumstances.

 

Appointment & Scheduling Policy-Cancellations & No-Shows

Please arrive on time to your scheduled appointment. If you are 15 minutes late, your appointment will need to be rescheduled and counted as a no-show. IF you notify us of your tardiness and time allows, we may be able to keep your appointment.

Please give us a 48hr notice of appointment change or cancelation. Each client gets a text confirmation one day in advance and if your email has been saved, you will also receive an email confirmation 2 days in advance and an appointment itinerary. In all of these confirmations, you can confirm your appointment that is scheduled. If you have not confirmed by 24 hours before your scheduled appointment, we will call you to confirm. If you do not answer or respond by the day of your appointment, we will assume you are not coming and cancel your appointment which will be considered a no-show/last minute cancelation.

For your first no-show or last minute cancelation (after 48hr window) you will get a text and/or email notifying you. This is considered a warning. If a no show /last minute cancelation happens again after your warning, we have the right to require a non-refundable deposit for booking any future appointments at Vista Belle Salon. This deposit must be paid over the phone or through our online booking system at the time of booking and will not be refunded or used towards your booked appointment. This is meant to help cover the cost of the past 2 no show/last minute cancelation appointments.

 

Service Expectation Policy

Pinterest and other inspiration pictures are highly encouraged, although we can never guarantee your hair will look like the picture nor do we want to copy another artist's work. We will always explain to you the process of achieving your hair goals which many times consists of many sessions and lots of patience. Our top priority besides giving you the hair of your dreams is to keep your hair as healthy as possible during the process. If we have never colored your hair before, we do not know what has been put on your hair and how your hair will react to our products. Please trust and respect us as professionals and your stylist.

We can only guarantee lasting services with proper at home hair care that we will recommend. We are not responsible for hair changes if you are not using our recommended at home care, this applies to extensions as well. Vista Belle Salon and all of the stylists here are trained in hair extensions. We perform the best methods that are the healthiest methods offered in this industry but anytime you are choosing to do extensions, there is always a risk of breakage because the hair is held in a position that it is not used to. We will do everything we can to avoid this issue, but correct home care is the only way to avoid this (but there is always a risk).

We are constantly expanding our services to bring you the latest and greatest. Although we make every effort to keep our website and price menu updated, please note that prices and services are subject to change at any time.

If you are dissatisfied with any service, PLEASE let us know before you leave. We can either schedule you for a “fix” appointment or, if we have time, fix it for you then. If you go home and decide you want your service fixed within 3 days after your appointment, you will be charged for the price of the product used. After 3 days to 1 week, you will have to pay ½ of the service price. After 1 week from the day of your appointment and you want it fixed, you will be charged full price. We do not offer refunds on any services under any circumstances.

 

Other Policies

We will always do our very best to get you into our books when you are requesting but we can never guarantee. We highly recommend to book your next appointment before you leave, or call at least 4 weeks before you are requesting to come in.

Please take off your jewelry before we start your service. We are not responsible for lost/broken/stolen items.

 

Eyelash Extension Policy

For eyelash services, we are not responsible for anything that happens to your eyelashes if you do not follow the at home care and rules.We would be happy to fix them for you if anything does happen and we will determine price according to the situation.

 

Facial Policy

There is always a chance of an allergic reaction when doing facial services. If you have allergies, please disclose this to your esthetician prior to your scheduled facial service. 

Please do not talk or move during a dermaplaning treatment or there is a chance of “nicked” skin. Dermaplaning is a very tedious and possibly dangerous process, schedule knowing that it can be a risk.

If your skin is sensitive, there is always a chance of peeling and/or redness/soreness after a facial treatment. If this hasn’t resolved in a few days- a week, it could possibly be an allergic reaction but please reach out in case there is something we can do to help.

 

Hair Extensions Policy

Besides hair coloring, hair extensions are one of the country’s most high demand hair options that we (Vista Belle Salon) along with many other salons offer. Please know that with any method of extensions there is risk of breakage and/or damage, everyone’s hair is different. Following our recommended at home care sheet, you should see very little, if any, damage, but there is always a risk. (Please ask us for our at home care sheet if you have not been given one!) It takes 2 weeks or more for the extensions to loosen up and be more flexible and less tight so please plan for this. With any type of extensions, It is a learning game and an experience. For a first timer who has never had extensions, this could take weeks to get used to so we encourage you to ask as many questions as you would like and please be patient with your new hair. We do  stand by our general Vista Belle Salon policy which states “All service and gift card sales are final and we do not offer refunds.” If for any reason these extensions do not work for you, we will not refund your money.

 

All of our extension clients are required to have a valid credit card saved on file. 

We have a reschedule/cancellation policy in place to protect you and your stylist. Contact us prior to 48 hours before your scheduled appointment if you need to cancel or reschedule. If you fail to do so, we have the right to charge your saved credit card 50% of your scheduled service. You then have one week to contact us to reschedule your appointment and if you contact us within the week to reschedule, you will then only owe the remaining 50% balance when you come to that scheduled appointment. If you fail to contact us within the week to reschedule, your next scheduled appointment will again be full price. If you don't call and don't show up (no-show) to your appointment, you will get charged 50% of your scheduled service.

The 50% charge is nonrefundable under any circumstances. After your 2nd charge, we will unfortunately no longer be able to schedule services for you at Vista Belle Salon. You will be notified of any charges to your card. We are not responsible for insufficient funds or overdraw fees.

Please know that we completely understand that things come up in your schedule so if something does come up, please give us at least a 48 hour notice via phone, instagram, email, or facebook. We would appreciate the notice tremendously and there will be no charge. Our general no-show and cancellation policy also stands and we may be obligated to require a non refundable deposit to schedule future appointments with us.

Online Scheduling Policies

Some of our appointments scheduled online require a 50% deposit paid before scheduling. This deposit will be taken off of your service the day of when you show up! If you no show the appointment or cancel after the 48 hour window, that deposit will be nonrefundable. 

If you need to cancel your appointment, you can do so by calling or messaging us OR you can cancel online. Per our Salon Policy, we do ask that you give us a 48 hour notice.
